Sign up to work on decorating different areas of the school for the night of Post Prom.

In order to make a successful and memorable night for our graduating children, we need the parents of the class of 2020 to help prepare and support the event.  We thank the volunteers who have been coming to the barns to help with building and decorating.  Anyone is welcome to join us every Tuesday and Thursday night, no artistic talent is needed.  We need many more volunteers to help the week of prom for setup and participating in the event itself.  We are requesting that volunteers sign up by TBD as we need to check clearances and order volunteer t-shirts for the night of post prom.

Specific areas where you can get involved are:

​

1) Pack up the materials in the barns and drive the trucks to the school.

 

2) Set-Up of the post prom event itself on Thursday, May 21st after school and Friday morning/early afternoon on May 22nd.  There are many different volunteers needed.

 

First, we need some men to help set up scaffolding and construct the outside entrance on site.  Additionally, we need people to support the set-up of the rooms inside - there will be a few leads for each room directing the work and other general volunteers will be appreciated as well.  Finally, we need some volunteers to help with check in of bags and cars for those students who want a car for the morning after prom but will be taking a limo to the prom.

3) Night of Post Prom 2020 Volunteers - we need many volunteers to help the night of post prom.  Volunteers are to arrive by 9:30 pm on Friday, May 22nd and are to stay until all students are dismissed (dismissal is 5:00 am Saturday morning).  We are asking volunteers to sign up for those areas they are interested or can sign up to be a floater.  We need a few people to volunteer to wear costumes that support the theme and also need some dealers for the casino.  All volunteers for the night of post prom need to have their clearances.  If you are unsure if you have your clearances updated, we can check for you...please email us at:  gvhspostprom2020@gmail.com
